Today was a fun day because we had TWO special guests in our classroom.
This morning Mrs. Flowers came in and taught us about adjectives. We got to choose a picture and try to describe it using adjectives.
This afternoon Mr. Remond came in to read us a Christmas favorite - How the Grinch Stole Christmas! He is a pro at this book and can even make his voice sound like the grinch. It was wonderful! We love reading role models! Listening to reading is an important part of becoming a fluent reader. Pick a date to come on in to read to our class! Fridays work great but let's be honest, we can make time for a story from you ANYday! Email Mrs. Smith if you are interested!
In other news, we had our first official indoor recess today! Can you believe it's raining in December? Recess was super fun! Games everywhere! First grade is the best!
