Today Mary Linda Sather, the author of Boo Boo Bear's Mission, visited our school! She read the story to us and took lots of questions. It is a true story about her son and granddaughter. Her granddaughter sent her very favorite bear, Boo Boo, to Iraq to be with her dad while he fought in the war.
You can even see the real Boo Boo on the table in this picture!
This author visit was just ONE of the special things we have going on at Elm Creek for I Love to Read month!
