As you may already know, February is "I Love to Read Month." Today we went to the gym for the kickoff. Our goal this year is to read 200,000 minutes! So keep track of your reading minutes at home and send it in so we can try to reach it!
Our theme this year is freedom. We will be celebrating our freedom to read and learn! Here are some of the fun things going on around EC this month...
February 8th - a real author is going to visit our school.February 14th - RIF book giveaway - we will be getting a FREE book to take home this day
February 21st - Veteran's Ceremony to honor those who protect our freedom
February 27th - Family Reading Night at EC 630-730
