MLK Research

We have been hard at work in writing this week. We have been researching the great American leader, Martin Luther King, Jr. We read books, saw power points, and watched video clips. Then, we made a collection of notes as a class of the important facts about his life and who he was. Then, we wrote a rough draft and finally, we TYPED it up in the computer lab! Even though first graders aren't necessarily developmentally ready to start typing, it is still a great idea to learn our way around the key board. They blew me away with how fast they did it!


Here are just a few of our final products! It is coming home today!
